  • END-OF-SUMMER POOL PARTY - SEPTEMBER 19

Children up to age 18 are invited to attend an end-of-summer pool party. To kick off the new school and church program year, a pool party will be held Saturday, September 19 at the new YMCA. We will meet in the multi-purpose room between 1-2 p.m.

  • WHAT? NO RALLY?

Usually during the fall, we hold a stewardship rally, but we’ve noticed that attendance has dwindled. Upon reflection, we thought there might be a better way to have people renew their commitments to various ministries. This year, that will be done by e-mail.

  • EC101

Are you looking for a way to renew your faith commitment? Would you like to learn more about the Episcopal Church and why we do what we do? This fall we are considering offering another Episcopal Church 101 (EC101) class.

  • TRUNK-OR-TREAT

Last October, St. Anne’s held our very first Trunk-or-Treat. This was an opportunity to reach out to our neighborhood and meet some new friends.

  • ALL SAINTS - SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 1

All Saints’ Sunday, November 1, is a very special day in our church. It is when we celebrate the whole cycle of life, remembering those who have died, as well as welcoming new members in Christ through Holy Baptism. Holy Baptism is the beginning of a lifelong journey as a Christian, which is upheld and supported by the Body of Christ, the Church alive in the world.

  • OPEN MIC NIGHT STEWARDSHIP CELEBRATION - NOVEMBER 6

Calling all singers, musicians, comics, storytellers and human tricksters! St. Anne’s second Open Mic Night will be held Friday, November 6 in Rose Hall.

  • AMONGST ALL THE SAINTS

I was mildly surprised several years ago when reading (the early) Thomas Merton to find that he had a deep desire to be a saint. I cannot say that I had ever particularly thought about myself and my life’s goals in those terms. I knew, of course, that in the New Testament all the folks that followed Christ and were part of a community of believers were called “saints”—as in the phrase “God’s holy people.” Everyone who belonged to God in Christ was sanctified in some way by the Holy Spirit and so...

  • SEW FOR HOPE

The sewing group called “Sewing for Hope” meets the third Monday, September 21, October 19 and November 16 of each month from 6-8 p.m. We sew simple dresses for the children supported by the Tumaini Fund. These new and colorful dresses bring enormous joy to the orphan girls of Northwest Tanzania.

  • PRAYER WARRIORS

“Prayer Warriors” has been developed in response to parishioners wanting to be more involved praying for people and their needs. Lime green prayer cards have been placed in the pews and on the gift counter in Rose Hall. All are encouraged to fill them out for any type of prayer request.

  • ST. ANNE'S CHEESEBALLS

CHEESEBALLS are available at St. Anne's in Rose Hall for $5 each.

  • CHILDREN'S MINISTRIES

  • PRAYERS OF HEALING

The second Sunday of each month, we offer healing or the anointing of the sick after each service. This sacramental rite is for anyone in need of healing of mind, body or spirit.

  • REFLECTIONS BIBLE STUDY

Meets Wednesday's at noon in the parlor.
