Life Together

  • AMONGST ALL THE SAINTS

Fr. John Schramm, our guest saint specialist, will be preaching the following dates and leading adult forums between the two services: May 8 is Mother’s Day, so we will study two very different mothers, Monica, mother of St. Augustine and Francis Perkins, FDR’s Labor Secretary and first woman to serve on the president’s cabinet.

  • PENTECOST CELEBRATION OF THE SPIRIT

On Pentecost,Sunday, May 15, we will gather as our church family and friends for ONE9 A.M.SERVICE, followed by a spirited brunch in Rose Hall. Join us on this Holy Spirit Day, as we celebrate the many gifts of the Spirit God has given us. Wear red in remembrance of the Holy Spirit coming down on God’s people like “tongues of fire” in scripture.

  • ECW BAKE SALE

Sunday May 15 ECW will host a bake sale to raise money for St. Anne’s to purchase rose-colored vestments. Please bring some delicious baked items to donate and plan to purchase a baked goodie to take home.

  • YOU OUTTA BE IN PICTURES!

  • A LETTER FROM PASTOR CORINNE

Dear Friends and Family of St. Anne’s, As I write this message, all the chairs in the sanctuary have been moved and half the pews are covered in red paper. It’s time to start the second phase of our sanctuary project.

  • THE STRAIGHT SCOOP ON STRATEGIC PLANNING

Back in the ’80s, my Dad and younger brothers watched a television show called The A-Team. George Peppard was the star of the show, but it was also the first major role for a flashy character known as Mr. T.

  • PRAYER WALKING

“Seek the peace of the city…and pray to the Lord for it; for in its peace, you will have peace.” Jeremiah 29:7 Recently it’s been hard not to notice how many people have been missing from church. If you have not been here, know that we are diminished without you. At a recent book study, we talked about this trend and tried to imagine what the cause or causes might be.

  • ST. ANNE'S ANNUAL TENT SALE

The annual Tent Sale is a big fundraiser for SAMS and ECW. This year the tent sale will be open to the public from June 8-10, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

  • A BOOK STUDY FOR OUR TIMES

Due to parishioners’ requests, we will be having a book study on Michael B. Regele’s “Science, Scripture, and Same-Sex Love.” As many of you know, the Episcopal Church voted at the last General Convention to authorized two new marriage rites with language allowing them to be used by same-gender couples. How is this decision supported by scripture?
